While searching for “Trees of the Forest” we took a little detour and planted a box of our own. With credit to BookWorm, I’m borrowing the following directions (with a couple of changes). This is a quick and easy box.
Directions: From the junctin of Rt 179 and Rt 4, go west on Rt 4 to the first left (Punchbrook Rd). There is a blinking light there although it may not be blinking. Go straight through 3 3-way stops till you reach 2 miles. There are soccer fields on the left and a State Forest sign on the right. Pull in to the right (there's not much room, but you could probably park across the street).
Go down the logging road to the first trail off to the right. Head down it and look for a stump on the left, then another. Follow the tree behind to the last hole. Be careful of the prickers.
