Remaining boxes to be in place on August 25, 2005. One of the boxes will be relocated due due the difficuly that many have had in fining it. It is the one with the bonus clue.

Directions:
From Rt 95, take Exit 3A, Rt 138 East. Proceed for approximately 2 to 3 miles. Turn right onto Rt 112. Head 1/2 mile south on route 112 and turn left 1/2 mile east on Wilbur Hill Rd. Head 1/2 mile east on Wilbur Hill Road to the parking spot by the sign.

Grass Pond Preserve protects a special RI ecosystem. Because of its fragility, the pond itself is generally off-limits to the public. However, there is access on the north side of Wilbur Hill Rd

To pursue the Golden Sun Series, begin your hike by walking east on the unpaved portion of the road to where you see a big rock on your left with trail markings pointing north (left). From the big rock, proceed straight for approximately 37 paces along the unpaved road. You will see a stone wall to the left that is fairly accessible. Walk about 12 paces to the twin trunk tree near the wall. Look for “Isaac” hiding in the wall behind the tree. Stamp in and re-hide carefully.

Return to the unpaved road and continue your hike eastward. Soon you will pass two boulders that you will need to walk around. Within about 10 feet, two more boulders will block your path. Continue around these boulders and proceed a short way up the rise of the hill. As you near the top of the hill, there is a stone wall to the left that makes an intersection with another wall running about 20°. Look for “Garet” about two paces to the right of this intersection hiding carefully under a flat stone. Stamp in and re-hide carefully.

Return to the unpaved road and continue on this path. Soon notice a golf course off to the left. From the northeast corner of the golf course (this would be the end of the golf course that is visible form the unpaved road), take notice of a large tree about two paces from the unpaved road with a hiding hole at the bottom front of the tree. “Ivan” is hiding behind the tree under a flat stone. Stamp in and re-hide carefully.

Return to the unpaved road and continue on this path. The road will curve to the left with large rock formations off to the right. Continue on until you notice a distinct break in the wall (looks as if this was a gated entrance at one time) to your right. You have entered private property at this point. Look for “Mia” hiding low in the stone wall to your right. Stamp in and re-hide carefully.

To return to your car, you must return the way you came

We hope you enjoyed this series of letterboxes based on the Golden Sun video game.

Beware of ticks in certain seasons.
