Find you way to Fern Hammock Springs. This is located in another springs recreational area in the Ocala forest. It is $4 per adult (plus tax) to enter this area.
Make sure you bring your bathing suit and a picnic. This is a great place to spend the day! They also have canoe rentals, a concession area, and showers.

You will want to drive to the canoe area and park there. Beyond the Canoe Rental Pavilion are a Swimming Hole and Old Mill. Take a look. Then follow the Nature Trail behind the mill to the Fern Hammock Springs. Watch for wildlife! I saw a deer, otter, red-headed woodpecker, and a bunch of turtles.

In order to find the box, you much find the answers to the following questions:

1) Who created George of the Jungle?
A=Take the number of letters in this persons first and last names and subtract eight.
B=Take the number of letters in this persons first and last names and multiple by three.

2) What year did it first air?
C=Take this year and subtract 1847.

3) How many total episodes were aired of the original George of the Jungle?
D=Look at this number on your compass. It is in this general direction.

About half way down the board walk, you can elect to step off and follow a trail. Good idea. Look for (A) palms trees growing side-by-side to the left of the trail. If you can’t find them, go back to the board walk and count (B) paces. Face these palms and spy George’s favorite oak tree at (C) degrees. CAREFULLY (not disrupting nature by making a path) go to that tree and look for George on its’ (D) side. This is a very tall oak, no wonder George slammed into it!
