Coming from Simsbury, go north on route 10. Take a right onto route 315, and follow it up the hill to Tariffville. At the stop sign, keep left (Winthrop Street) and follow to the end, across from the Cracker Barrel Pub. Take a left onto Main Street.
Just before Hayes Landing take a right into Tariffville Memorial Park. If arriving by car, park at the tennis courts.
Continue on foot on the path that leads towards the woods and the river. As you walk, check out the turtles on the logs in the river on your right.
Just before the tree that you can see through, take a left. Follow this path (can be muddy after alot of rain) until you come to the 90 degree left turn. Stay straight for about 10 more steps. Here you will see a pile of large rocks. This is where you will find our "sunshine" box.
(Please be careful of poison ivy here in the warm seasons. Stay on the path, and you will have nothing to worry about.)
