The Earle H. Remick Nature Trail starts on the west side of Route 113 @1 mile south of Tamworth Village. Just south of where the power lines cross the road. Park along roadside. Stop at the box to sign-in & pick-up a trail map. Follow the trail passing a log landing platform & a blueberry patch. Cross over a small brook with a dilapidated bridge. Turn right past some large red oak trees competing with some hemlocks & white pines. You will come to a stee hill. At the foot of this hill, you should see a sign #6. Facing this sign, look to the left to see a rotting log. At the root end & behind the log, beneath sticks & twigs, is what you are looking for. Be on the lookout for other boxes on this trail. As always, we ask you to rehide what you find.
