You never know what you’ll find in the woods. Follow the clues and find our funky little lady. To begin, you need to go to the Eastfork State Park by the Wm. H. Harsha Dam and Lake. To get there:

From I-275, exit 125 east for 10 miles until you come to State Route #222. Turn left. Continue on S.R. #222 for a short distance (about a mile). The entrance to the Wm. H. Harsha Dam and Lake will be on your right (Slade Road). Take that road until you come upon a sign for the Tailwater Picnic Shelter. You want to keep going straight until you reach the Ranger Station / Visitor Center. When walking from the parking lot, head 240° to a small, brown footbridge. Check out the Deer Ridge trail maps. From marker #1 you can walk the loop trail in either direction until you reach trail marker #4. At marker #4, take a bearing of 190° and go about 9 paces to a good sized, multi-trunk tree. Look under some branches at the base of this tree to find our Little Lady.
