Day and Night—Creation Series Box 1/7
In the beginning, Genesis says,
God created Time in the form of nights and days.
This box is the first of a series of seven.
It tells of the time when God spoke from heaven.
To find Box 1 drive to Austin in Texas—
To the highway that’s 6 squared x 10.
Wild Basin Wilderness, it’s south of the River—
Driving north, find the entrance and take the dirt road to the end.
Park where convenient, guard your valuables well.
Visit the info center where they have stories to tell.
At the trail head you’ll see many trails on the lista.
Take the one that is the loop, by name Arroyo Vista.
Go round the trail either way—It’s a loop, after all.
‘Til you meet Triknee Trail. Careful, don’t fall
Down the steps to the bench. Did you see “Overlook”?
Have a seat, catch your breath, get out your logbook.
But hold on, it’s too soon. Go up the steps once more.
Just a few paces on the path on our left to find info galore.
Here take a breath, the sights and sounds are the best.
Then look for the place where two rare birds “nest.”
Peek behind those rare birds, see the rock pile at the base.
You know what to do, find a bench to stamp in that’s away from that place.
Return Day and Night to its safe hiding spot.
Log your find on the web, Atlas Quest / LBNA’s what I’m talkin’ about.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this look at Creation.
Read Genesis1:1-5 for more information.
