THIS BOX WAS PULLED FOR THE WINTER DUE TO WATER DAMAGE. WILL BE REPLACED SOON!
Our family (The Farkle 5), started letterboxing this year. We have had so much fun with it, we decided to hide our own - close to home.
Start at 05454 on a route equal to two decks of cards (sans Jokers)
Pass a "rural place to store your food."
Park at a "a place owned by underage people that you can acquire just about anything."
Walk through the field toward the trees.
You will find a broken down, red privacy fence. You will now be entering our backyard. At the farthest corner of the fence, walk 48 regular paces down the path. At the fork, walk another 12 paces to the right until something blocks your path. Look your left. At the crook of the two red pines you will find your treasure. When you find it...be sure to yell "WE FOUND THE FARKLE FIVE BOX" as loud as you can so we can hear you from the blue house that you can almost see through the trees.
Please bring your own stamp pad. Postcards are available in the box for anyone wishing to report their find by snail-mail. My kids love to get mail. Don't forget to stamp the postcard along with your find information!
