Checked 11/11/04. Good to go!

1. Follow a pleasant hill to a farm. It sounds like they grow energy-storage devices made out of mineral solids, but of course they don't really.

2. Park by the trail head and walk along the gravel path. Head west at the T intersection.

3. Say hi to the horses as you pass by. PLEASE BE CAREFUL. All those fences are electric fences.

4. Follow this trail across a road. Soon you will see a good home for a _Sialis sialis_, or perhaps a _Tachycineta bicolor_. Just across the trail is a smallish _Pinus strobus_. You'll find the letterbox in the shrubs around the tree, on the southern side. Retrace your steps to the parking area, or loop around a tiny quarry.

Enjoy the walk! You may find wild strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and wildflowers of many species. Birders also will have plenty to look at.

If you visit on a Saturday morning between May and October, you can finish your little walk at a Farmer's Market by the parking area.

All standard waivers apply. E.g. letterboxing could be dangerous but that's not my fault. You have been warned.
