After searching for parks and recreation areas I came across a large city that has a few parks. I was surprised to find that there were not any letterboxes here. So with two boxes in my hand I set out to explore this city. When I was done, I went shopping!

Make your way to Ben Gill Park in Terrell. Its about 10-15 minutes from the Outlet Mall. For a map you can go to www.cityofterrell.org. Ben Gill is a 100 acre park with baseball fields, tennis courts, Olympic size swimming pool with water slide, soccer fields and a historic railroad car.

Laugh So Hard

Enter the park at Pool Rd and Lions Rd. This is located behind the recruiting office next to the tennis courts. You will immediately see a triangular island that has Crete myrtles on two sides. Find the brick monument with plaque. After reading the plaque look to your left and find the 2nd Crete Myrtle. Laugh so Hard is located in the middle.

He Always Says Hello

Enter from Ben Gill Parkway. Follow this road through the curves to the left until it ends in a parking lot. As you enter the parking lot there is a pole on the right that has 3 different signs. You will see baseball fields on your right. A football stadium ahead and the swimming pool is on your left. Find the 2nd planter on your immediate left. You should see a small white drain pipe. Directly above is a small bush. He Always Says Hello is located under this bush closest side to you. Please try not to smash the ground cover.

Please be aware of muggles as this park can be busy at times. I planted these on a Sunday and it was pretty empty, but it will depend on what sports are going on.

As always please reseal and rehide well. Feel free to bring a box or two of your own to leave behind. There are lots of areas in and around the parks. Don't forget to bring your wallet and go shopping at the outlet mall.
