This box is back in place with a newly carved stamp.
THE CLUE HAS CHANGED slightly, so be sure to have a fresh
printout of the clue.
Take Route 97 North from Westminster, 7 miles to the town of Union Mills. Just after passing the Union Mills Shriver Homestead Park, turn right on Old Hanover Road and make the first right into the parking lot at the park, which sits on the corner of Route 97 and Old Hanover Road. After exiting the car, stand in the picnic pavilion, facing Route 97.
You feel the wind blow through your mane. You are a Lion. Even though you are brave and strong, you must stay hidden. This territory has been invaded by humans.
You smell the flower scented breeze, then slink along the edge of the large grassy field, leaving the pavilion behind you, walking parallel to Old Hanover Road.
You stop to smell the flowers at the base of the memorial to local World War II veterans and read their names aloud. They were brave and strong like you.
The bush trembles, (the one that is on the left as you face the sign). What's that inside the bush? Ah, ha, you've found it! The Lion's Lare.
This park often has children and fishermen nearby, so please be discreet and rehide the box well.
While you are here, find JUST AN EGG, the second box in this series!
**Hike Length:** 0.2 miles
