Take Rt. 290 to exit 24(Church St. Northborough, Boylston) and proceed towards Boylston.Davidian Brother's Farm Stand will be on your right.

Travel NW as Church St. turns into Central St. in Boylston almost immediately at the end of Davidian's parking lot.

Travel approximately 1.2 miles to Rocky Pond Road on your right. Rocky Pond Road continues at your first right approximately 0.1 miles away.

Proceed another 0.2 miles, and as you turn the corner on Rocky Pond Road, you will see Rocky Pond itself.

Drive into the parking lot on your right. Carefully cross the street.

First, notice the beauty of the pond then notice the Boylston Fire Dept. Water Supply sign.

To the left of the sign, you will see a tree with a deteriorated sign on it.

Rocky Pond is a beautiful place to learn to fish, but watch out for those trees! This tree in particular seems to collect bobbers. See if you can find 8 bobbers in this tree.

Turn left and skip over to the telephone pole with yellow plastic covered wires next to it.

Once there, look up and turn 180 degrees to face cement cubes next to the pond.

Walk to the nearest telephone pole on the right side of the street (left of the parking lot).

Can you hear the brook that travels under the street from Rocky Pond? (best in Spring, may be a dry brook by Fall)

Now look for the triangular/cheese wedge-like rock further down Rocky Pond Road. Walk to it.

With your back to this rock, face Rocky Pond and notice the beauty from this angle. Huge boulders border the pond's edge and large bogs make islands in the middle of the pond.

Look across the street and notice a large tree with three trunks to the left of an enormous glacial boulder.

The letterbox is hidden in the center of these trunks

Please replace the letterbox carefully.

We hope you will enjoy viewing the beauty of Rocky Pond and use it for canoeing, fishing, kayaking, swimming, and relaxing.
