The following letterbox is part of the KAZ Kids "Catch the Activity Bug" campaign. It will only be available between June 7th and September 1st, 2008. To participate in the campaign, please pick up your official "Catch the Activity Bug" Field Guide at any York County library. Please remember that all Field Guides must be turned into your local York County library no later than September 12th to qualify for prizes.

This letterbox is located in John C. Rudy County Park. KAZ Kids level of difficulty = 2

1. Park in the macadam parking lot on the left.
2. Locate the building where you can “rest” and follow the tree-lined, paved path behind it.
3. When you reach the brown Observatory sign, turn left and stay on the new path.
4. Pass the building where you can watch the stars at night. You may want to return for one of the star-gazing activities.
5. Continue past the building, remaining on the new path, until it connects with the gray one.
6. Turn left on the gray path and follow until it reaches a “T”.
7. Turn right and walk up this path.
8. When you reach the grove of pine trees near a bench, walk behind the trees and follow the fence line.
9. A line of pine trees should be on your left and the fence on your right.
10. Approximately 25 adult paces from the last pine tree will be a small cluster of three trees on the right.
11. Stand facing the cluster of trees and the fence. Turn around 180 degrees.
12. The letterbox is located at the base of a two-trunked tree across the trail from you.
