Start at the MDC reservoir on Route 4, Farmington Avenue. Park in the visitors parking lot way in the back.
Go through the yellow gate on the left. Continue to follow the paved road over a bridge, past a bridge on your left and then past the stone bench on your left. Begin looking on your right for a spot where the trees clear right next to the road and there are some very large rocks on the side of a hill. (If you get to the spot where the road curves right and you see water straight ahead of you, you went too far).
Climb straight up the large rocks. Continue approximately 30 paces over the branches on the ground. You will see two downed trees forming a V. Find the one whose roots are facing the standing tree stump.
Look in the roots and there you will find the surprise left by the magical woodland Brownies of troop 10474 at Morley School.
