This is an interesting maze of trails with numbered sign posts. Each box is near a numbered post, the rest is up to you.
From the Hebron Town Pound find the sign for Mohegan Land Trust Chestnut Hollow Nature Preserve. Trails were built by RHAM students in 2000 and 2001. Enjoy.
Go south from post #6 to a small trail going through a stonewall. Be sure to check out the hugging tree to the right. It's ready for your hug. Just as you get through the wall look left under the front overhang of the hambuger bun rock.
Go south from post #13 go through a stonewall, turn left along the wall and look behind a tree with a rotting trunk.
