Adaptive Bikes
Part of the Universal Access series -
These 2 letterboxes are located at Elwell State Recreation Area on Damon Road in Northampton. One features a Hand Cyclist and the other a unique Bicycle Built for Two. Both of these bicycles are very popular in an adaptive biking program that takes place on Friday afternoons a mile away near Trailside Bicycles. You might even see a hand cycle or a wheelchair tandem in use along the trail if you seek these on a Friday.
These two letterboxes are at the main parking lot in a double hiding place. Find something that allows for wheeled access and look under both from behind. Although the site is wheelchair accessible, reaching the box may require assistance for some wheelchair users.
