In North Avondale, drive until you see North Avondale Montessori School. Park your car then walk up the drive way to the right of the front of the building. Walk to the entrance of the woods. Walk down the steps until you get to the asphalt part of the trail. Cross the bridge to get to the split in the trail. Take the left path at the split. Walk across the wooden bridge then walk up the steps. When you get to the top of the steps, walk one foot past the locust tree on your right. Look behind the tree. The Stone Figures Letterbox is under the plants at the foot of the locust tree. Please contact me if you find the box.

The name of the box is named after a rumor. The myth says that two boys were once playing football in the woods when the ball went into the yard of the person living in the white house. The boys retrived the ball but continued to play on the yard of the white house. The person who owned the house then saw them playing in his yard so he went outside and turned the boys to Stone Figures. So anyone that the owner catches on his yard is turned to stone.
