This walk is a nice easy one, there are a few hills involved but nothing I would consider strenuous. Bikes and pets are allowed on the trail but, you may need to get off the bike to make it up some of the off path trails they can be very rocky. Children should find this walk very easy.

Boxes have no ink please bring your own

“Undercover Siblings” Clues

By the main paved path head into Parlor Rock Park,
Far on the right you’ll see a tree with ribbon and blazed orange bark.

Past this tree soon go under two bridges,
Instantly a path to your right follows along the main road ridges.

Follow this path to where an old metal fence comes to an end,
Up to the right another which is in need of a mend.

Stop by the first and take a short rest,
In the tree on your right is where the sister does nest.

Back to the main paved path you should go,
Don’t get worried just follow the flow.

At the end of the left three wooden rails you should be,
With a giant uphill path to the right you should see.

It’s up 25 paces on the left where an indent should be,
This large flat rock lounging in front of a tree.

There will be a rock which leans on another,
Here is where you will find my brother.

Just make sure you stamp out of sight,
Or I just may end up taking a flight.

Special Notes:
1: Although, Parlor Rock Early Amusement Park can be accessed from two different sides the clues are written so you are going to want to start at the parking lot of Old Mine Park.
2: These boxes are hidden within view of multiple points of traffic walkers, runners, bikers, and even the main roads so please be as stealthy as possible!
3: These clues where written as the park is undergoing some upgrades so there is a point at which a stone wall is no longer there just look for the tree and all will be fine!

Old Mine Park is located in Trumbull, CT it is very easy to get to.

Coming from either side of I-95 you want to get off at exit 27/27a for Route 25/8 heading towards Danbury. The road will split and Route 8 will go off to the right make sure you stay left or actually straight on Route 25. This is the Route 25 Expressway. You will begin to see signs for the Expressway end, which is a rather large four way intersection. At this intersection turn right onto Route 111 and the park will be on the first street to the right. Follow this street to the end into the parking lot, not even 1 ½ miles.

Coming from either side of the Merrit Parkway you want to get off at 49/49a for Route 25 heading towards Danbury. This is the Route 25 Expressway. You will begin to see signs for the Expressway end, which is a rather large four way intersection. At this intersection turn right onto Route 111 and the park will be on the first street to the right. Follow this street to the end into the parking lot, not even 1 ½ miles.

Enjoy-may the faerie dust lighten your day!
