The league consists of teams from Beverly, Hamilton, Ipswich, Manchester, Rockport, Rowley, & Topsfield to make up the league. Most of the players are college or former college/high school players; a few have had professional experience. Please join us this and every summer for some of the best baseball around! Clues:
Take route 1A to Hamilton, Patton park is located close to downtown on 1A, you can't miss it. The park has equipment for kids, basketball, tennis courts, pool, skating in winter, and lots of open space to run around. General George Patton lived in Hamilton for many years, hence the name Patton Park. The town's sports teams also go by the Generals. The ITL town baseball team calls Patton Park home as well. The team plays every Thursday at the park from Memorial Day to early August. Games start at 5:45pm, maybe you can catch a game while you find the box. In the center of the park you'll find the starting point. An actual WWII Tank is the park's main attraction. Go to the tank and climb to the top. From here you should be able to see the entire park. Sitting on the top find 60 degrees on your compass. It should point you in the direction of home plate of the Generals' home field. Behind home plate is a memorial stone dedicating the field. The figure on the stone looks across a parking area to a double green gate that leads into a large field. Go straight through the gate, following the tree line. In the distance from the gate you should see a horse jump made of many stones. Go to this stone horse jump. Once you reach the stone horse jump, continue in the same direction for 150 steps. This should take you right up to two more jumps with the path leading through the middle. The jump on the left is 3 logs (telephone poles) stacked in a pyramid. At the far side of this jump under the logs by woods you'll find your pirze. Good Luck!
