From the parking lot along side the left side of the school ( on Rte 89 ) head East along the edge of the woods to the start of the trail marked by a yellow metal gate. Continue on the trail passing a large pine on the left, it has many signs and a blue arrow on it. Continue on the trail crossing a dike (a raised walkway) that does not block water. At the end of the walkway you will start to go uphill. Look on your right for a large rock embedded next to the large pine to the right is a small the cluster of rocks. Go to the back cluster of rocks. There are 2 rocks covering your treasure. Box 1 Mr. Happy Pencil Guy. By Lazy Letterboxer

Box 2 continue on the trail the way you were heading. You will pass another dike (walkway). There is a lone wooden post on the right side of the dike with no markings on it. . Soon you will spot a wooden birdhouse on the left. Take a reading of 220 degrees from this birdhouse and you will find another trail on the right side of the dike.
Walk in about 44 paces. Look to the right to a group of pines. Look for a mama and her baby pine. Between these 2 you will find a box. Backpack by SweetPea. Thank you

Box 3 continue on this trail at the “T” go South 220 degrees. At the next intersection go left 90 degrees on a yellow trail. From the third yellow blazed tree ( BLAZES ARE FADING ) on the right, look left to a pile of branches and bark.( RIGHT BEFORE A BROKEN TREE ON LEFT ) Look under the bark for RECESS. Box 4 at the next T go North. Walk until you are almost back at the main trail. (You just did a loop) Just before the main trail there is a Big Pine on the right side of the trail. Go to the rock behind the pine. There you will find Addition carved by Connfederate . thank you


Box 5. Turn left on the main trail heading back the way you came in. The birdhouse will soon be on your right. And you will see a trail behind/after the birdhouse leading you into the woods. Take the trail to THE FIRST large pine tree on your left. Look past the tree into the woods ON THE LEFT and you will see a long fallen tree.( ABOUT 20 STEPS-25 STEPS FROM THE TRAIL) ON the LEFT SIDE of the long log TOWARDS THE ROOT END will reveal your treasure.

- Box 6 --proceeding along the trail,Go STRAIGHT ACROSS THE 4 WAY INTERSECTION WALKING THROUGH A PINE ALLEY. cOME TO THE FIRST LARGE PINE TREE ON THE RIGHT . STOP . LOOK RIGHT THERE IS ANOTHER PINE TREE THAT IS DIFFICULT TO SEE IN THE SUMMER. IT IS ABOUT 17 STEPS BEHIND THE LARGE PINE THAT YOU ARE STANDING NEXT TO at 160 degrees .lOOK BEHIND THAT PINE TREE . tHERE IS A PILE OF STICKS , BURIED UNDER THEM IS YOUR NEXT FIND. rETURN TO THE 4 WAY INTERSECTION THAT YOU JUST CAME FROM . Box 7 --aT THE 4 WAY INTERSECTION -- gO RIGHT ON THIS TRAIL. 75 paces from here you will spot on your right in the woods about 15 feet or less into the woods a group of 5 tall, thin straight woodland children (5 sister tree)-playing ring around the rosie on your right. The "rosie" is in the center of the ring/trunk . You will know that you are in the right place if you had walked uphill gradually and On your left you passed cut wood. Box 8
Continue on this trail heading NW. Take your next right trail at 80 degrees. ( BLUE ARROWS ARE IN THIS AREA) Count 24 paces to a 2 sister tree with another branch sticking out from one of the sisters. 8 paces @200 degrees to a 5 sister tree waits a Box of crayons carved by Holly. Box 9 Head back to the trail ( you know 24 paces back to where you started to count ..that trail) Take a right . wALK TO THE THE 3 WAY INTERSECTION WITH A LARGE OAK IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS INTERSECTION . tHE OAK HAS YELLOW AND BLUE BLAZES ON IT. tURN AROUND AND WALK 12 PACES BACK THE WAY YOU CAME . lOOK RIGHT FOR A BLUE BLAZE ON A THIN TREE ( MIGHT BE HARD TO SPOT) LOOK RIGHT . ABOUT 7 PACES BACK IN TO THE WOODS IS A MOSS COVERD FALLEN LOG. ( IT IS DIFFICULT TO SEE IN THE SUMMER ). lOOK WHERE ANOTHER LOOG HAS FALLEN ON THE BIGGER LOG. BEHIND THIS INTERSECTION OF LOGS IS ANOHTER BOX. Southeast Fall CArnival carved by Holly

Box 10
as you will come to another Y, go left and you will end up on the main trail that you started on . Look to the right you will spot the first yellow gate at the beginning of the trail. For Box 10 head back to the school parking lot. Look for the huge chimney in the middle of the school . To the right are double doors . This is the Fine arts entrance .Look for 2 sets of sliding windows to the right of the door. Look under one set of windows buried in the wood chips/mulch SE Elementary is there . Pine Tree carved this one .
