Mark Twain said of Bermuda: “You go to heaven if you want to, I’d druther stay here.” Visit the magnificent pink hotel in Hamilton where his white linen suit and pipe were a familiar site. He often held court here, reading from his works or signing autographs. His presence is still felt in the hotel in the form of a statue that occupies a bench in the lobby.
After taking your picture with Mark Twain (and maybe having a great Rum Swizzle), go out the front door and go right down the drive to the sidewalk. Look left to the Princess Hotel sign. See those magnificent oleander bushes behind the sign? look for a hollow (about waist-high) in the first bush behind the sign for a camo bag.
