My sister and brother-in-law own El Toro Mexican Restaurant in Alachua. They recently opened in Alachua after being in Gainesville for 20 years. I wanted to plant a box for them.
Stay a little bit and enjoy some of the BEST mexican food around. And their salsa is award winning!
From I-75 take exit 399 (Hign Springs, Alachua, and 441). Head south on 441 towards Alachua. After 7/10 of a mile, you will be turning right at N.W. 147th Drive. This takes you into the Rolling Oaks Plaza. El Toro will be on the right hand side.
Once inside, follow the path past the HERRERO de PASO and the wall of PLATOS de TALEVERA to the CORREDOR of ESTRELLAS de COLORS. Pass the doors of MUCHACHOS -y- MUCHACHAS. At the end you will see UNA ESTRELLA, "The Beauty of Mexico". Look ATRAS and your treasure will be wrapped up EN UNA COLCHA CHIQUITA de COLOR ROSADO.
