GONE MISSING, SORRY!

-----

Original clue:

Just over a decade ago, a young woman named Fionna Speeds died in a terrible fire that broke out in her house. At the time, she had invited over her friends for a friendly game of poker. Fionna loved cards so much that even as her living room was on fire, she sat calmly shuffling the deck while the others tried to escape. Only one man escaped, and he secretly buried Fionna somewhere in the Boston Suburban area with her legal documents and the will that she wrote while shuffling her deck. Fionna's Uncle Hugh was the man mentioned in the will to receive the possessions, but he was greedy and cruel. Hugh immediately set out to find the girl's resting place. Now, you, the letterbox hunter, have to find Fionna's grave and the letterbox accompanying it before Hugh and his investigators take the money!

P.S. There is nor was anyone named Fionna Speeds, nor was there a house where five of Fionna's friends died in a tragic fire (Fionna doesn't have friends because she doesn't exist).

To find Fionna...

  • Arlington Senior Center 27 Maple Street in front of sign that shows address.

  • To the right there is a parking lot entrance.
  • Go straight from entrance onto a path.

  • Stop when you come between the two stairways.

  • Cut across to the right to a square platform.

  • Go down the root-filled path.

  • You will see a Native American.

  • Stand in the spot where, if the Native American's bow were fired, the arrow would go.

  • How many playing cards are there in a standard deck? Walk this many steps to the left around the Native American.

  • Now you should see a large, slanted rock on two smaller ones. Between these is where Fionna is buried.
