I decided to carve a stamp for each of my kids. This one is for my oldest. She is always on the move and wants to be involved in everything. Purple Haze just reminds me of her.
To get to West Tawakoni City Park:
From Quinlan, go east on Hwy. 276. This is the only main road through West Tawakoni. Turn into the park. Turn left and then take another left before the bathrooms. There is a small U shaped driveway on your left, park in this driveway. From the basketball court,
There is horse shoe area set up right behind the courts. Behind the horse shoes on the right, along the fence line there is a lone Cedar tree. Purple Haze is at the base of this tree.
There are 3 other boxes in this park. Make sure to look for them. They are

While you are in the area make sure to check out the boxes in Greenville and Royse City.
To get to Greenville, turn right out of the park. The second light, just past Sonic is Hwy 34, go right or North on 34 into Greenville.
To get to Royse City from here, turn right out of the park. Go up to the second light and take a right onto North bound 34. Go to the second light and take a left onto West bound 276. Take this for about 7 miles to West bound 35. Follow 35 into Royse City.
Also note that Quinlan is about 30 minutes from Tawakoni State Park which is a very nice park to camp at.

From Terrell, go North on Hwy. 34. Turn right onto Hwy. 276 at Budget Saver.
From Greeville, go South on Hwy. 34, turn left onto Hwy. 276 at Brookshire’s.
