You will need to use the 1895 Atlas for this. I'll give the link via email if you need a little help.

Back in the late 1800s there were three post offices that started with the letter C in Door County. One of these was in a little town named after a French settler who was also postmaster. It is no longer in existance, but the intersection where it was located is created by streets that still bear the town's name.

Downhill to the west you will see a bridge. Just prior to the bridge on the left, there is a large multi-trunked tree. The box is nestled in the crook. This is a joint box that developed out of a child needing to improve his writing and reading skills and a friend in Texas who was kind enough to spend many hours corresponding with him. Both these letterboxers have carved a stamp to commemorate this friendship.

You will need some markers - multiple colours are recommended. This is very kid friendly, but watch them by the creek as there are some times of the year where it's over 6 feet deep in spots and fast flowing.
