NOTE: I replaced this box on July 25, 2010, after it had been vandalized. There is a replacement hand-carved stamp of the bridge, as well as a stamp of a fish that some wonderful letterboxer left when the original stamp had gone missing. I decided to keep them both in the box to preserve its history.

Take Vermont Route 128 to the Village Green in Westford. There are parking spaces along the dirt road across from the Brick Meeting House on the Green.

From the Green, walk to Cambridge Road, just past the Westford Store. As you head down the road, you'll see the historic Westford covered bridge on your left. Have a nice walk through the bridge, noticing how beautifully it has been restored as you pass through. Take a moment to listen to the Brown River as it rushes beneath you.

When you get to the exit of the bridge, stay to the right side and U-Turn out. Go down to the cement slab that heads toward the river. The box is hidden between the last two beams under the bridge closest to the river. Please be stealthy--cars pass by regularly and there is a close neighbor. Please re-hide deep enough under the bridge so it cannot be seen from the road easily.

Now there are two stamps. The box was sabotaged and the original stamp was stolen. A nice finder left a replacement fish stamp. I have re-carved a stamp of the bridge and left both in the new and improved box.
