DISCLAIMER: box clues ARE outdated, but the box IS still there. I plan to update the clues as soon as I can go back up there and figure an accurate guiding description.

start by finding the CASTOR RIVER SHUT-INS this fairly easy call the Conservation Dept. for directions.

From the parking lot follow the mulched trail(and pick up a stick along the way and hold on to it till later) to the castor river shut-ins (there are signs). at the end of the mulch trail is the river, head up the little hill trail (also has a patch of mulch) on your right, follow this trail till you get to the cedar glades hiking trail sign. just past this sign is a small trail on the right with little hiking trail signs start counting them. at the fifth sign past the cedar glade trail sign you will be at a mini fort looking stone structure(manmade of course). At this sign true yourself to north and then head east 9 1/2 steps you will now be standing right in front of a triangularish looking rock. Behind this rock is a whole ( what the stick was for)check for critters in the whole then commence to claim your prize. This letter box is in the openish so finding it will not be too hard, however it is in the openish so the tricky part will be being descreet in not letting others see you claim the box. Good luck and have fun. Remember to keep our parks clean, any trash taken in should be taken out. heck take out some elses trash if need be.
