Being in the Navy and as a First Class Petty Officer, we thought it would be nice to make a stamp for it. Being First Classes it is our duty to mold junior personel into leaders and so we have a First Class Association to do so. This is the first stamp we carved and we chose this park because, Naval Station Ingleside was our first duty station. Soon the base will be shut down in 2010.

Directions: Take 1069 towards the base. You will travel about 5 miles. You will see a sign for Live Oak Park on your right hand side. Turn left and go 3 blocks to the park.

To the Box: Once in the park, turn left at the first fork. You will travel around the loop, passing the playground on your right. At the curve you will see a covered pavilion with a parking space next to it. Park there. There will be a path in front of you. Go 4 steps from the first post and turn left. You should see a group of trees. They are just ahead and a little to the right of the 3rd post. At the base of the trees under a red brick is the box.

Please email us the status of our box. Thank you.
