To get to this letter box you must climb to the top of upper Yosemite falls. This is a very strenuous hike that consists of over two hundred switchbacks. The trail head is located behind camp number 4, and is near shuttle bus stop number 7. The hike is 7.2 miles there and back. Keep in mind you will be gaining two thousand seven hundred feet in elevation, and approximate hiking time is 6-8 hours, round trip. It is a good idea to bring a lunch along with you for this hike.
Once you reach the top, you will come to a sign that points to the right saying "overlook." Go straight past this sign, and follow the path in front of you down to the wooden bridge. DO NOT cross the bridge. Instead, look directly west of the bridge, and you will notice a tall dead standing tree. The box is at the base of the tree covered by a large stone. Be discreet when finding this box, because the area is usually scattered with hikers. Have fun, and remember the long hike is DEFINITELY worth it!
