7-25-2008 I've just been told that there are a lot of trees down on this trail. Be prepared to crawl over or under them.
Directions:
Find your way to Haddam Meadows State Park in Haddam on route 154.
Drive in and bear right. You will have a large field on your left.
Continue to the right, following the one way sign.
Drive to the other end, by the boat launch.
Take the mowed trail between the No Parking signs. Follow this trail into the woods and follow it along the river until you come to a culvert with a measuring stick. The trail turns left and soon you'll see some discarded drainage pipes on the right. At the short fat pipe, go uphill and look in the roots of a good size tree.
Directions:
