This park honors the First Black Regiment of Rhode Island. Follow 114N. When the road splits for 24N, stay left on 114. The park is immediately on the left as you come down the exit. Park in the turn-off. Walk towards the monument. Stop at the flagpole with the RI state flag on it. Facing the monument, go right towards the brush to a tree with 3 or 4 trunks. Carefully go down the ditch on the right side of the tree and look between the trunks.
*It may be easier to go during the winter, fall, or early spring when the area isn’t as grown in*
