The city of Yorba Linda, California has some 100 miles of equestrian, biking, and walking trails. The city’s love of horses and commitment to equestrian activities helps set it apart from neighboring communities.

The hunt for this letterbox begins at the Richard Nixon Library in Yorba Linda. Enter the library parking lot from Yorba Linda Blvd. Park at the east end of the lot, down by the helicopter (and in case you are wondering, this is the VH-3A "Sea King" helicopter. This helicopter was in the Presidential fleet from 1961 to 1976, transporting Presidents Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, and Ford, and many foreign heads of state and government.)

Walk to the equestrian / bike trail at the far east edge of the lot (look for the white fence.) Begin your walk at the corner and head north on the paved side of the trail. Be careful as you search! These trails are very popular for horses, bikes, and pedestrians. Walk until you reach the silver railing on the right (next to the white lattice/chain link fence.) If you look beyond the silver railing you just might see horses in the stables below! Now, turn around and face the library. You will see white fencing in front of you and slightly to the left. You will find the Giddyup! letterbox on the ground near the last white fence post. Remember to be stealth as there may be people on the trail around you. Please rehide carefully near the last fence post. Thanks for searching!

Note: This trail goes on for approximately 2 miles past this letterbox location and would make for a lovely bike ride, horse ride, or walk.
