Click link for map on how to get to the reservoir.
The starting point is at the back parking lot in the MDC Reservoir on Farmington Ave. In West Hartford, CT. Click on the link for a map on how to get there.
Out of the parking lot follow the white line until you get to the first entrance to the yellow trail.
Make a right onto the Yellow Trail.
Use your compass to measure 280 degrees NW.
Once you find the first yellow marker make 25 paces.
Then make a right.
Pass through ancient "skate ramps."
Continue uphill and look for a triple trunked oak tree surrounded by maples.
Look in the middle of the trunks and you will find the letterbox named High In The Sky.
Placed by the Summer Place letterboxers.
