This is my sons and my 2nd box. We found this location by driving around until something jumped out at us. We probably spent more time and money driving and paying for gas then we did making the boxes and such.
The books are hand made by my boys. They are very artistic, please bring sneakers and an ink pad.
To start out, park in the grassy parking lot, across from 34 Airport Rd in Coventry RI 02816 (I love GPS)...
Lat 41 41 28
Long 71 35 10
Head NW down the pine needle path past a square fallen tree on your left.
Enter into the clearing which looks like the neighborhood's dumping ground for forgotten leaves. Oh they are so clever...
The path continues down the embankment on your left, under the vine curtains and over the cyber vines...
Head past the stumpy, the headless tree.
Be careful while crossing over the swampy river (it seems dry, but I wouldnt try after a big rain). There are some stumps, rocks and fallen trees to cross on if it's wet.
The path continues up the hill on your right.
Pass the battle scarred tree, he looks innocent, but don't believe his lies, he's shady!!! (ha shady, get it, he's a tree).
You will soon pass triplets on your right, and a little ways down on your left you will pass a naked tree (this hunt maybe rated r)... just kidding.
Through the pine forest, take a right at the tree giving a peace sign.
Over the dirt hill and into the field of fallen metal toys, around the corner you will see a heap of junk (by beauty is in the eye of the beholder)when you go around to the back of the pile you will see a metal pipe, within that pipe is your treasure.
