High Point State Park

This is a quick and easy find for beginners!

The Arrow of Light award is the highest achievement in Cub Scouting. We felt it was appropriate to make this letterbox after one of the Three Bees achieved it! We hope this will also inspire young boys to join a Cub Scouting Pack near them!

Route 23 North, go past park office. Take first left onto Sawmill road. Go about 2 miles untill you see the lake on your left. Parking is on your right.

Start by the bridge in front of the Dam:

Over the bridge where the water trickels down
Up the steps where a tree is fallen down

Travel the path and look to your right
A second path is in your sight

Take right path go steps 33
Then look for the tree that's dead in the "v"

Search under the rocks
And you'll find our box

Happy letterboxing!

This area is so beautiful and if you look for these other letterboxes in the area it becomes a day full of enjoyment!
