This box is located at the Woodsom Farm at 211 Lions Mouth Road
in Amesbury MA. Turn right at 211 and then follow driveway out
behind the barns. There is a parking lot.

Start at the "No vehicles beyond this point" sign.
• Walk back to Lions mouth Road.
• Cross at the crosswalk to the field.
• Follow the mowed path up the hill. When you get to the intersection,
turn right and continue up the hill.
• Feel free to stop at the crop circle on top for a snack.
While you are there check out the amazing view. To the east you can
see the towers on Pow Wow Hill and the Cashman Elementary School.
To the North East you can see the various homes and buildings from the
Woodsom Farm including the old hay barn. To the North you can see the
hills of South Hampton NH.
• Continue on the path down the other side of the hill
• Turn left at the intersecting path and go behind the hill
• Follow for some time until you come to a fork in the path.
• Turn left at fork and stay along the tree line
• Follow to the end of the mowed path
• Turn left and follow the dirt path into the woods (trail is steep – no strollers)
• As you head up the trail towards the top of the hill,
you will find a giant beech tree on the right with a yellow rope hanging from it,
• This is your destination
• Go around to the back of the tree and find your prize
• After you replace the box you have two options
• If you want to continue to the top of the hill follow the trail a
little further up and you’ll be back on a mowed path. If you turn
right and follow the path you will hook back up with the original
trail back.
• If you want to go back down to where you began the wooded trail,
you can follow the mowed path back out to the fork and go left
which will bring you around to the front of the hills on the left
side of where you started.
