This letterbox was reported missing as of May 2009.

This letterbox is located in Cook Forest State Park.
From the east, take Exit 78 off of Interstate 80, then PA 36 north directly to the park in Cooksburg.
From the west, take Exit 60 off of Interstate 80, then take PA Route 66 north to Leeper. From Leeper, follow PA Route 36 south, seven miles to the park.

Go to the Sawmill Center for the Arts located next to the swimming pool. Park in the lot and go by foot to the Black Bear Trail beginning near the red fire hydrant. Turn left when you come to a "T" on the trail. Follow the trail and take the path to the right. You will walk past the water tower which will be on your right. Continue down the road and look for the Black Bear Trail sign between the trees. Continue down this trail until you reach a very large oak tree on the right side with lots of bark peeling off the base of the tree. From this point count off 45 paces until you reach a clearing. Look to your left where you will see a tree with a hole part way up the trunk. The Black Bear will be behind a tree directly behind this tree, under a log. It is approximately 155 paces from the previous Black Bear Trail sign.
