Retired as of 5/31/10. Actually, it's been missing since 7/27/09, but I'm making it official.
This series features one box along Pacific Coast Highway in each California county, and the stamps relate to that county's name. Although the mission was originally named for San Buenaventura, the shortened name is simply Spanish for fortune, and the county's nickname is The Gold Coast.
