This box is part of the Parade of Books Letterbox Series. The clues lead from box to box. You should check the first box in the series, Lord of the Flies, for general trail information. Near the starting point for this box is one of the access and rest areas for the trail. Further down the trail on the left had side is poison ivy - we stay on the paved trail or just off of it to the right hand side. Enjoy your ride - Wahoo!
Seat belts, Everyone!
Please let this be a normal field trip!
With the Friz, no way!
Cruisin' on PAST Main Street
You're relaxed and feelin' good
Next thing that you know you're seein'
DRAGONS* in the neighborhood!
Surfin' on DOWN THE TRAIL
Swingin' YOUR ARMS
STOP AT THE SEVEN MILE MARKER
Take a LOOK AT THE AREA'S CHARMS
FOR the Magic School Bus
TURN TO THE EAST
LOOKING TO climb on the Magic School Bus?
LISTEN FOR THE FROGS AND LITTLE BIRDIES, TOO!
THEY'RE NEAR our Magic School Bus
LOOK AT 95 DEGREES
FOR the Magic School Bus
Such a FUN thing to do!
So strap your BACKPACK ON TIGHT
Come on in and don't be shy --
Just to make your day complete
You might LOOK FOR A FIVE TRUNK TREE
FOR the Magic School Bus
Step inside -- it's a wilder ride!
Come on - ride the Magic School Bus!

* The nearby elementary school's mascot is the Welsh dragon - which is also on our street signs.
Please use YELLOW INK for this stamp.
My apologies to Peter Lurye, Joanna Cole and Bruce Degen, whose words and illustrations have been "adapted" here.
This is my first handcarved stamp and first plant. We love the MSB books for kids! I thought this spot would be perfect for this book because of the frogs hopping nearby and because the 7 mile marker represents home for my family when we've been out on the trail. I hope you enjoyed your experience on this field trip! WAHOO!
