THIS BOX IS MISSING. MIGHT BE REPLACED IN 2011.
Part of the Songcatcher Series.
Planted May 15, 2008 during a Hell And High Water Book Club meeting.
PLEASE DO NOT PUT THIS BOX INTO A BAG. Thank you.
"My dear, do you know, how a long time ago
Two poor little children whose names I don't know
Were stolen away, on a fine summer's day
And left in the woods, so I've heard people say.
"And all of the night, so sad was their plight
The sun, it went down, and the moon gave no light.
They sobbed and they sighed; they bitterly cried,
And the poor little children, they laid down and died.
"And when they were dead, the robin so red
brought strawberry leaves, and over them spread.
And all the night long, he sang them this song:
Poor Babes in the Woods, poor Babes in the Woods,
And don't you remember the Babes in the Woods?"
Park at the Trailhead for Roaring Fork Falls near the USFS Busick Work Center. Enjoy the falls, then up, right of rock, obvious path, obvious tree. Hide better than you found it hidden....
