The Wilton Candy Kitchen is the oldest on going ice cream parlor in the world. The kids and I drove over for lunch. We had woderful sandwiches made by Thelma herself and homemade "phospates" soda. The Tin Roof Sundae I got for dessert was amazing. Made with her husband George's homemade ice cream. In 2010 the soda shop will celebrate 150 years in business.
Because the kids and I had such a great time in Wilton, Iowa we decided to leave a letterbox there.
Find West View Park in Wilton.
Find the blue and yellow swing set near the baseball diamonds.
From the small road that goes to the swings, see the light pole to the left of the swings near a white shed.
West of the pole are 3 groups of multi trunked trees.
At the base of the set furthest south.
Please re-hide well. I don't know how many leaves this tree has come fall.
