This box is placed in honor of my oldest's 9th Birthday.
The box is placed at Harrybrooke Park, in New Milford, Ct.
It is primarily for the use of New Milford residents only, but if you are respectful of the grounds, then you may look for this box, even if you are not a
New Milford resident.
Drive to the EXIT parking lot for Harrybrooke, off of Still River Drive on Frank's Lane. You should notice RR tracks from this parking area. Walk around the gate if it is closed.
Start walking the paved bike/jogging path with the water to your Right. Feel free to read all of the information placques along the way.
You will come upon a spot where the path splits. Stay left and walk toward the row of pines. When you get to the pines, you should notice a sign that reads, ONE WAY and the arrow points toward the direction from which you came. In the woods looking the way the arrow points, look behind a fallen tree stump for your birthday surprise.
HINT: You will NOT have to cross the RR tracks to find this one.
Please be cautious to be discreet, as this is a park that is enjoyed by many.
Don't forget to rehide well.
Thanks for visiting, feel free to continue along the path for a nice walk, or return the way you came for a quick exit.
box checked 4/16/2009. all is well!
