Original, unedited clues:
-------------------------

Location: Eastern Neck Wildlife Refuge

Difficulty: Flat, half mile, nature loop.

Directions: Travel east on Route 50 across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, then take Route 301 North where 50 and 301 split. Take the exit for Route 213 North towards Chestertown. Once in Chestertown, turn left onto Route 291 (also marked "To Route 20"). At the T intersection, turn right onto Route 20 South, and go 12 miles to Rock Hall. At the blinking red light, turn left onto Route 445 - the Refuge Entrance Bridge is about 8 miles from Rock Hall. Once across the bridge, go approximately 1 3/4 miles to the Wildlife Trail parking area on your left.

Notes: Deer hunting is allowed in Eastern Neck National Wildlife Refuge on a few specific dates. The Refuge is closed to the public on hunting days ... see the Eastern Neck NWR website for details (try clicking on the deer hunting application for the dates in question).

Clues: Start your hike at the trail head near the sign. Past Delmarva Fox Squirrel Habitat, find the tree on the right with 86 and numerous pronouncements of affection. With your back to this tree, look across the trail, and you will see a large log about 10-15 paces ahead. The Marsh Frog has taken residence inside the west end of the log.

Continue along the trail to return to the parking area.
