Yet again the UMCA Wolves are out hiding more boxes. This time we decided to hide a series of 9 together. All box names where done by the kids, so you may find they do or don’t have anything to do with the stamp object that may be inside the box. This series is at Mt. Pisgah State Park.

The Buzzing Bees - #1
To start off the wolves were a little crazy still from their Fairy Bread, which is a favorite at kid birthday parties in Australia. If you come soon enough you may find a few droppings under the Lakeside Pavilion. After they ate their treat their counselor sent them out running, which in turn made them sick and head for the outhouse. Once they got there the Wolves stirred up the bees that ended up stinging them and chasing them to the white marker near the road, which was not far enough. We continued to run from the bees until we found the sign that told us we had gone far enough. After this long run from the bees the Wolves were very thirsty and headed across the road to the path that would lead them to water. Soon they walked over a pipe and from there they counted out 40 paces to the next pipe that at the time contain a puddle of water. Near the edge they found a large rock that they had fun standing on because it rocked, but they rocked too much because they stirred up another bunch of bees.

Ponies - #2
To start you will need to first find Box #1, The Buzzing Bees. After the Wolves had gotten their drinks, they heard a thunder of an unknown noise coming their way. So they sat and listened trying to figure out the source of the noise… well out of nowhere they saw ponies coming there way. Not sure what to do the Wolves began to run father down the path that they were on. As they ran they passed a tree on their left that has a yellow mark on it as well as what looks like writing. Onward they continued passing over another pipe with water that they wanted to stop at for more water, but after looking back knew that they did not dare stop. As they continued to run they came across a “smell” of the sewer, which made them want to run even faster. As they continued to run they found a fork with a bench that they had thought about stopping and resting at. At the fork they continued on the same path which was left. 70 paces they go until they found an interesting tree on their left that was done… it had an awful smell about it, maybe it was because it was dead. The ponies continued to come after the Wolves, so the Wolves got smart and went off the path thinking they could fool the ponies. To go they went right across from the log until they found another path. Here is when the Wolves realized they were safe from the ponies. They found 2 more of those smelly logs lying on the ground and under the smaller of the two they found a treat!

Anti-Infinity Tracks - #3
To start you will first need to find Box #2, Ponies. Next these wild Wolves found some fun tracks in the ground as they headed up the path. Just a few steps from the last find they found a tree on their left that was 2 big trees connected with 1 little tree in the middle of the 2. Up, Up, and Up the hill the Wolves went until they found the curve, and in this curve they found what they believed left all these fun tracks they followed. On the tree on the right in the corner were the names of the track makers. From this tree with your back to it they walked 13 paces into the woods to find a stump that consumed the body of the track maker.

Goshawk Indians - #4
To start you will first have to find Box #3, Anti-Infinity Tracks. After all of this running and searching the Wolves got very side tracked and headed back down the trail, back into the danger that they had just run from. Once they got back to where they started all their searching in Box #1, they continued to follow the road down over the hill pass the sewer plant and across the bridge. Soon they heard the noises from the Indian Tribe Goshawk and followed the path back to them where the Wolves were soon to be dinner. As they walked back closer and closer to their death, although they did not know this, they crossed some down trees in the path after going around 2 curves. Up the hill they went closer to the Indians. Once it leveled off they found the Teepees (no really there) the Indians where living it and out came the Goshawk to kill. The Wolves ran just a bit father and found the trick to stopping the Goshawk at the base of an uprooted tree.

Sea of Moons – #5
To start you will first need to find Box #4, Goshawk Indians. Once the Wolves had stopped the Goshawks and the Indians were full, the Wolves knew it was safe to leave. They had had enough with the Indians and decided it was best to not go any father, but to turn around and head back out of there. Just before getting to the end they found 2 Shaggy Birch with a Hemlock between they found a sign from the sky.

Butcher Shop - #6
To start you will first need to find Box #5, Sea of Moons. After the sign from the sky continue your way down the trail till you meet the original trail. Once meeting it the Wolves made their way to the left going up the hill. At the fork they made their way left still. At the top of the hill they took a short break on the bench and looked for dinner in over the dam. After finding their dinner they headed off into the woods to find a resting place for the night. They counted four yellow tree marks before finding what looked like the Butcher’s Hand on the roots of one of the trees near by. Down off by the lake they found their home for the night on the backside of the tree growing on top of the rock.

Box Ghost - #7
To start you will first need to find Box #6, Butcher Shop. As the sun was rising the Wolves awoke and walked back to the path and headed West. They counted out one yellow tree maker before finding a tree that contained breakfast for them. Can you guess what was the Wolves breakfast this morning, well if you can find the broken tree with the Spider Web like tree under then you are not too far from their meal. It is on the backside of a flat mossy rock, but be careful on what you reach for.

2 Stooges – #8
To start you will first need to find Box #7, Box Ghost. The Wolves have now had their breakfast and are ready to make their rounds. Back on the trail West they went. Once they came across the grassy area, it was not too far after that they found the “Steamy”, but pass it they go. After the “T” the Wolves counted out 2 yellow tree marks before coming across their morning snack of a pile of dead dogs. After having a nice little snack the Wolves continued to the next “T” where they chose the water’s edge for a drink before heading up the hill. On this day they decided to not bother Old Man Hutchinson and counted out 1 more yellow marker. Just up ahead the Wolves could see another marker and bench to rest on, but they were distracted by the yellow mark on the Hemlocks on their right. If you are at the bench/2 yellow mark you have gone too far.

Hedgehogs - #9
To start you will need to find Box #8, 2 Stooges, and walk to the bench. It is now time to take a seat and rest your tired legs. As you sit there figure out which way you should go, and that is 240°. Pass the funky tree that is not in the ground much more. Across the bridge you will go and count 2 yellow tree markers and into the power line. Reenter the woods and just inside you will find a tree to your left that “Y’s”. At the base of this tree is the end to your hunts. If you head up the hill after you reenter the woods from the power line you have gone to far, turn around and relook.
