Hillcrest Park
155 Hillcrest Park Lane
At the intersection of Hwy 15-501 and Hwy 22 in Carthage. Drive into the parking lot and park all the way to the rear. The baseball field will be on your left. Follow the signs to the walking trail and keep on the path not the gravel road. The path will take you past a small old cemetery. The land the park is now on was once the property of the county home. The cemetery was used for residents who did not have family. When you entered the park you may have noticed the disk golf rings. You may want to bring along your frisbee to play while you search. Follow the path and on the right you will pass a shed. Shortly after that the path will split. On both sides of the path there will be disk rings. The disk rings are all numbered. You may take either path as it circles round. You are looking for the number 8 disk ring. The letterbox is in the base of the disk ring. Please make sure you replace it securely and cover with debris.
