****This box was confirmed missing at a gathering intended to locate or confirm missing various boxes placed before Hurricane Ike***********

This LB was placed on a recent Girl Scout trip to Galveston, stopping at the NOAA Sea Turtle laboratory. The research facility gives free tours on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. The girls loved the tour and how close you get to the Sea Turtles.

The Galveston laboratory is located on the site of the Historic Fort Crockett, one block from the Gulf of Mexico on Galveston , and is the only federal fisheries laboratory west of the Mississippi River on the gulf. It is equipped with two facilities for sea turtle research focused since 1978 on the endangered Kemp's Ridley; this is the only federal facility in the United States dedicated to captive rearing of sea turtles.

NOAA stands for National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

Clue:
From the sidewalk in front of the facility(facing the lab). Find the electric pole to the right of the of the gate opening for parking. It is about 100 feet or more from the parking entrance. Go to the pole. Directly across the street is some Oleander bushes/trees in front of apartments. Find the bush directly across from the pole. The camo micro LB is the inside base of the bush. There was some AC units behind these bushes. Parking close to the bushes would help in retrieving it. Happy Hunting!
