To visit the letterbox devoted to this oft reviled but sometimes lovely plant drive south from Piercy on 101. If you are driving north you will need to turn around at Piercy and head south since the parking access is too dangerous to negotiate heading north. OK, from the south look for 98.37. Soon after that and immediately before the rock slide and truck tipping area pull into the space on the side of the road and park at the gate. Walk about 10 minutes down the old lane until you come to a discarded bit of architecture. Walk to the end of that construction and turn around facing the direction from whence you came. Begin counting uprights until you are mid-point between #6 and #7. Bend down and find the recess wherein the Toxicodendron Diversilobum Letterbox resides behind a couple of handy rocks.

Thanks for coming and beware the lowly but powerful Toxicodendron diversilobum!!
