Pirate Flag #1 is located in Tobyhanna State Park, Tobyhanna, PA. This hike is approx. 2 miles round trip on flat trails.

Once you enter the park find parking area #5. Park and start on the blue trail. From the blue trail take the yellow trail towards Tobyhanna Creek. About 1/4 mile down the trail you will come to a small boulder field on your right. (this will be the 2nd boulder field you come to, the first field has no pine trees) Approx. 12 steps more on the trail turn right into the boulder field for 10 steps. On the left under a pine branch, covered in sticks and a small tower of rocks you will find your treasure.

Pirate Flag #2

Continue on the yellow blazed trail toward Tobyhanna Creek. Just before you get to the creek there is a picnic table on the right. Go to the picnic table and to the left is a tree that has a trunk split into 2 trees. At the back side of this tree under rocks and tree bark you will find your second treasure.

If you are going out during berry season (such as late July through August) the trail is lined with blueberry bushes. This whole area is actually full of blueberries, and I found some black or dewberries also. The yellow blazed trail is flat but is rocky and has a lot of tree roots but I have seen bikes on it. The blue trail is perfect for biking.
