This box has been updated as of May 17th, 2009 with a new book and stamp!

We made this box for our friend Henry in commemoration of his first letterboxing adventure with his mom (me, robot).
In May, Henry came back to Maryland for a visit and we retired the "Henry Boot" stamp and replaced it with a new one. Hopefully, we'll have the chance to change the stamp with him next year.

We chose the Wilde Lake Wander series - clues for which can be found on atlasquest.com. We decided to plant Henry's box before the "Wilde Lake Wander" series begins - but you can follow those directions to find our box.
The box can be found off of the paved bike path that surrounds Wilde Lake. To get to the park take Route 29 North to Columbia and take exit 20 onto Little Paturent Parkway and head west. Turn right onto West Running Brook Road and then left onto Hyla Brook Road. Park in the Boat House parking lot on the left.

Start down the path with the lake on your left. Keep to the path around the lake and you'll pass a barn and picnic area on the right. Cross over a small wooden bridge and keep to the lake side path. Stop before you reach a second, larger wooden bridge. Just before the bridge, you'll notice a small dirt path that goes off into the woods to your right. Follow the path as it hugs the creek. Walk 55 steps from the bridge and the path will curve sharply to the right. At the curve, count out another 25 steps. You will see a fallen tree stump on the ground to your right and, behind it, a hollow tree trunk. Henry's Buckaroo box is hidden inside.

Replace the box with care and return to the path. Either return to the parking lot, or continue on with the "Wilde Lake Wander" series - the first clue begins once you cross the second bridge.

**Hike Length:** 1.0 miles
