Clues: Easy
Terrain: Easy
Stamp: Handcarved
Clues: Heading out of Washburn toward Caribou on RT 164 you will come to an intersect with a sharp curve. This is the intersection of RT 164 and Caribou Lake Road. Stay on RT. 164 and begin at this point counting the utility poles on your right. As you continue on your right you will be passing a 19th century apple orchard and the inspiration for this box.
Count seven poles. Just beyond the 7th pole is a pull off to park and a little field road. Across the main road from this pole are spruce trees. On the right of the spruces is a group of deciduous trees. Behind one of the middle trees in that group is the box under rocks.
PLEASE REHIDE WELL!!!
Please use caution when crossing the road. While this is not a particularly busy road some vehicles may be exceeding the speed limit. Just look both ways before crossing.
Note: This stamp was originally carved for the Tribute to Autumn ring and then later planted nearby with WOM clues.
